Hit that sweet spot for under $10 in Melbourne!

Winter is coming in Australia and all we will be craving would be comfort food, especially how cold Melbourne can get, you definitely want some food that will warm up both your tummy and body.

If you are like me, have that soft spot for sweets after your meal, here are five places in Melbourne CBD where you can fulfil your dessert craving.

Baklava at Borek Bakehouse on Elizabeth street. This is not one those unauthentic baklavas, this is one genuine delicious baklava that is nutty, not drowning in honey or sweet syrups. It is not overly sweet and does not leave an unpleasant tangy taste in your mouth. A flair of Turkey and Greece from one mouth full of this enjoyable baklava.

Their cupcake designs are so delicate and beautiful. Most importantly, they taste just as amazing as they look. They offer cupcakes, baby cupcakes and they also have vegan and gluten free options.

Donuts from Doughboys Doughnuts on Collin Street. If you think $6+ for a donut is expensive at Doughnut Time, try Doughboys Doughnuts, which taste just as good but cheaper! How amazing! Although they don’t have as many creations, but sometimes we just crave for that particular flavour. Well, you have found the place, Doughboys Doughnuts.

P.s
Do not try either donut shops if you do not have a sweet tooth. Even though they clearly are delicious, they can be sickening sweet for some. However, do give it a try with a friend or family, or maybe a cup of coffee or tea!

Lastly, a pop up ice cream shop – Milkcow currently located on Driver Lane. Creamy, sweet and semi healthy, as it is organic. Who would have thought to put fairy floss on ice cream, as if the ice cream itself is not appealing enough? If you enjoy organic soft serve with interesting creations, Milkcow is the place to be, before they are gone!
