Are you a backpacker visiting Melbourne? Are you wanting to have a short and an economical holiday to Melbourne? This is your day guide right here. This budget guide is useful on any day of the week. These places I am recommending are open 7 days a week! Amazing!

Wake up with 1000 £ Bend where they provide delicious breakfast and pleasant coffee. You can be sure to spend under $15 and walk out full. Friendly service and funky décor.

P.S
They not only serve breakfast; you can get lunch, dinner or an alcohol beverage sorted here too!

Do tour with Free Walk Tour. IT IS FREE! Explore Melbourne with strangers and let the knowledgeable and welcoming guide show you what Melbourne has got to offer. They offer private tours for a group of 10 or more. You just need to simply get in touch with them via their website online or call them up.

P.S
The tour is about 2 to three hours and they have two tours a day, one at 10:30am and one at 2:30pm.

Grab a $9.90 lunch at Lounge Kitchen & Bar. They offer 9 different dishes for you to choose from. Get the ultimate favorites BLT cheeseburger or go for old school fish and chips. They have healthy choices too like grilled chicken salad. Not going to reveal any more enjoyable dishes, you just gotta check it out yourself.

P.S
Venue provides outdoor balcony for you to indulge the sunshine when it is out. Heaters are provided for the winter season! Don’t you worry, Lounge Kitchen & Bar has got your fur on.

Craving for a nice view of Melbourne? Head to Eureka Skydeck at Southbank. Stand on the edge of the tower that has 88 floors for just $12. It’s okay to weaken your knees once in awhile. Just don’t look down they say.

P.S
Entry fee is $20, where you get to see the best views of Melbourne, step onto the terrace, just not at the edge of the tower. Still an amazing deal!

If you like Asian food, then you are in for a treat. Grab meal under $10 at Rice Workshop. They have two stores located in Melbourne CBD, one at Chinatown which closes at 9pm and one at Emporium food court which closes at 7pm. (Time varies depending on the days, please check their website.)
