Get your gym gear on and let’s start your weekend at Tropicana Juice. They have two stores, one on Elizabeth Street and one on Swanston Street; both open every day from 7am to 7pm. I am obsessed with their Colombian Breakfast smoothie, which comes with a shot of coffee, banana, muesli, honey and wheat germ. Breakfast with a kick and it just sets you up for the day.

Do a class with Kaya Health Clubs for $27. It may seem a little pricey, but the result and the feeling you get after your class are priceless. They offer Barre, Pilates on a reformer, yoga, and fitness. Book in advance to make sure you have your spot. If you have forgotten to bring your towel, Kaya has got your back for just $3 per towel.

Recharge your body with a juice or smoothie at Five Plus Smoothie on Little Lonsdale Street and lunch with Thr1ve at Emporium food court. You can never be too healthy, right?

Let’s take a walk after lunch to Shrine of Remembrance. It is just 30 minutes walk, 40 minutes max (depending on your walking speed). Soak up some sun or enjoy the rain. Do some reflecting on your journey during your walk whilst admiring Melbourne views. Think back to a pose you favored at Kaya or maybe a cooking inspiration you received from Thr1ve.

Time for a quick refuel at South Melbourne. Visit Kuu Café + Japanese Kitchen on Park Street. If you are a fan of matcha, Kuu is a definite a must go café. It is like a mini Japan as soon as you entered.

Go for a free barre or pilate class at S3 Studio on Bank Street after your quick refuel (one free class only for first timers, please check their website for membership). Don’t forget to rest at least 30 minutes before exercising. Remember to book ahead with S3 Studio to ensure a spot. They fill up fast! Extremely friendly instructors and upbeat atmosphere. You will not be bored nor regret going in or maybe even end up joining to be a member!

If you finish your class before 4pm, walk over to South Melbourne Market to check out some organic produce, fresh delis, homeware, or clothing. Grab a cup of coffee at Clement or get a dessert as your reward. I heart their lemon tart with marshmallows. That sourness with a hint of sweetness, DELISH!

It is always good to have something light for dinner. You can either tram or walk back to the city because Tetsujin sushi train welcomes you with $3.30 per plate (for 80% of their items). Can’t find what you are after on the sushi train? Tetsujin has gone fancy with their ordering tablet; just tap and order on the tablet instead of waiting for someone to come and take your order.

What is another reason to have a light dinner? Aqua S’s ice cream. End your day on a sweet note. I never knew sea salt ice cream would be good, but the flavor just grows on you. Aqua S changes their flavours every two weeks, but sea salt flavor will always be there. We gotta make room for all those tasty foods somehow, so let’s explore Melbourne eats with some action this weekend!
